The candles are hand-poured in small batches using 100% beeswax and molds made from real vegetables, which capture the veggie’s organic shapes and textures. These beeswax candles are created by actual beekeepers on a women-led, family farm in Merced, California, in the heart of Central Valley. The farm ensures the well-being of their honey bees so that their species lives on long after we are gone. Designed to serve as both ambient lighting—providing a warm, soft glow—and decorative accents, these sets of candles are sold separately. The Celery and Carrot candles have an approximate burn time of 12 hours, while the Asparagus has a burn time of five hours. The candles produce a pleasingly rich beeswax scent. Burning beeswax is also a good way to purify the air in your space, as it releases negative ions that clear toxins, dust and dander.
