Vignelli Hellerware Rainbow Stacking Dinnerware - Set of 6

Vignelli Hellerware Rainbow Stacking Dinnerware - Set of 6

MoMA Exclusive: Return of a design classic! Stacking Dinnerware was designed in 1964 by Massimo and Lella Vignelli and this multi-colored Rainbow version of the set was introduced by the Vignellis and the manufacturer Heller in 1971. Made to bring everyday delight and to last for years to come, these durable melamine designs, each in a different color of rainbow, stack up to create an eye-popping display that resembles an art object. A set of monochromatic Vignelli Stacking Dinnerware from 1964 is represented in MoMA’s collection. Each set of six dinner plates (9.75”diam.), salad plates (7.5”diam.) bowls (2.2h x 5”diam.) and mugs (4.25h x 3.25w x 4.75"d) is sold separately.

Vignelli Hellerware plates and bowls are made from melamine, while the mugs are made from polystyrene plastic. These durable materials ensure that Hellerware designs will last for many years. Dishwasher-safe.

FDA safe and BPA- and BPS-free. Wash before use. Not safe for microwave, oven, heat lamps or warming drawers. High acidity foods may discolor the finish, but will not degrade the food safety qualities. If this occurs, soak with apple cider vinegar to return the coloration. When serving hot food items, especially soups and beverages, they should not exceed 212°F. Wash before use.
